ShoofeeniShoofeeni is an experimental short film installation where Raheed investigates a VHS tape from her 3rd birthday party. This is a conversation between the filmmaker and her younger self — a tunnel through which archival footage and contemporary self-expression create a line of understanding and perhaps discovery. The film explores the process of self-image building and the performance of womanhood. Who is she performing to and who is directing?
